London / Surrey based composer and multi-instrumentalist Matt Emery’s debut album 'Empire’ was released on Injazero Records in 2017 to widespread acclaim, receiving praise from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, KEXP, Radio X to XLR8R, Clash Mag and The Ransom Note.
After selling out his debut headline show at St Pancras Old Church there have been further performances at venues including The Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room, Union Chapel and Neue! Step Festival in Istanbul with Nils Frahm and Peter Broderick. Matt also embarked on his first European tour supporting SYML in 2022.
Further EP and Single releases working with record labels such as Fat Cat, Moderna and Bigo & Twigetti have also received support from BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Introducing, Headphone Commute, Stationary Travels, Son Of Marketing and Self-titled Mag.
Matt's music has been heard by millions through its usage in film and television across channels such as BBC, ITV, Netflix, Sky, AMC, HBO, ESPN, BT Sports, DIY and Discovery. Emery's custom and soundtrack work has seen him work with companies such as Hugo Boss, GoPro, Red Bull, Vertigo Releasing Films, Sender Films, Giles Miller Studios, Wickes and Lelo receiving global press from the likes of Dazed, Cosmopolitan, CNN News, Microsoft News, Hype Bae and many more.
