Matt Emery is a composer/singer/songwriter and producer from just outside of London, in Surrey. He Scored the Soundtrack for 'The Sacred Quest' a new age love story released by the Ether Media Group in 2008. And his new solo album titled 'Elysian Fields' was released 19th Jan '09, available through Itunes, and all good download stores, the CD is also available through his website. His track 'The Homeric Hymns' which features on the album has recently recieved radio play on BBC 6 Music by Tom Robinson.
Matt is no stranger to the stage either, having toured and played live across the UK, and also regularly in Paris, sharing the stage and playing with the likes of; Newton Faulkner, Some One Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, Frightened Rabbit and one of his favourite bands that are hotly tipped for 2009 Animal Kingdom.
Matt also plays drums in Indie Powerpop Band Stagecoach, who tour regularly and recently appeared on the soundtrack to Channel 4's and E4's popular TV show 'Skins'. They have had air play by Steve Lamacq on his National BBC radio show and also on XFM, and recieved very positive reviews from the likes of The Fly, Rocksound and Artrocker.
So between his own solo music, work and projects lined up, and the band, 2009 couldn't be more of an exciting year to look forward to.

Tom Robinson - BBC 6 Music
"Atmospheric mood piece like Sigur Ros scoring the piano, he has produced something which is an immersive and thouroughly enjoyable sonic experience"

"Matt Emery is one of the best musicians I've ever met. His skill on the keyboard is perfection. Yet it is not your common classic that's boring to the teens. It is the sound of nature. It is a sound so beautiful, I can bath in it for days and have great night sleeping. Matt is the person with the touch. It is breathtaking and wonderful."
